It is time to show a left economic approach ; Open letter to Sitharam Yechuri

Dear Com .  Seetharam  Yechoori ,

We hope you could see and understand the devastating flood which entirely destroyed the social life of most of the people.Govt is doing its  level best to save the affected areas. But some issues are existing still have to be solved as soon as possible. As a left govt, it is their duty to restructure the post flooded areas by adopting people oriented vision..

As you have also noticed that lakhs of people are in the rescue camps which are running in the educational institutions, churches and mosques facilities are minimum. But Gust houses, Rest houses, hotels, resorts, furnished flats are now also under the custody of its owners and most of them are vacant. In hotels every room has almost all facilities which can be used for old, sick, children and women.Govt. has many limitations to provide safe shelter to the evacuated people so if the govt adopts suitable steps to make these places their shelter, it will be a great step to sooth the inconvenience of the victims.

The next issue is how to make their houses clean and disinfected. There man power is very essential. Here there is a very remarkable fact that the youth groups  can manage their youths from Kerala and other states, and take them to each affected area with the help of the party network and let them bring the houses to the normal stage with the cooperation of the govt.

Govt has calculated not less than 20000 crores which can make a loss 7 to 10 times to the market. It is a time to show a left economic approach to overcome the flood crisis. As you know Kerala is now the state which shows the maximum disparity between the have and have not  which was not familiar with the state till 1990s.The LDF govt has to adopt a strong approach to overcome the economic crisis not by common taxations but by focusing the richest people who are partially responsible for the disaster.

There is one more suggestion .Please make a rethinking on the development strategy which was increasingly damaging the forests, paddy land and the sea shore of the state.  Such approaches are making the state more and more vulnerable in the name of so called Development.

I hope you may immediately notice the above request and will suggest our  state govt to do its level best.
